BGB is a platform that teaches how to braid black hair. Due to Covid-19, people around the world have had to become more self-sufficient and that includes doing their own hair. BGB was created out of self-sufficiency.  The goal is to take away the anxiety and stress around learning how to braid.

The problem: Without their hairdressers, black women are trying to learn how to braid their own hair. The problem is, there is no guidance. There are a lot of “How-to” videos on Youtube yes, but which one to choose? And what products are they using? Is that the best technique? Can this technique work on any hair texture? BGB aims to simplify the way we learn how to braid while making it fun in the process by providing personalized, step-by-step tutorials to keep users confident and engaged.
